Children's Book Illustrations
You are a publishing company and you want to hire me to illustrate a children's book? Awesome. I'm interested. But if you're an aspiring author, you need to know that usually, publishers will get their own illustrator. If you didn't know this, do yourself a favor and get a copy of "Children's Writers and Illustrators Market" by Reader's Digest, and then read all the articles. You'll thank me.

You're in luck! I majored in fine art in college. It's EXTREMELY RARE to find a caricaturist or cartoonist with a fine art background. ( I know of no others)

PRICING

Hand-drawn or painted caricatures take many hours of work. from sketching to the finished product, they can take ten hours or more of my time.
You’re getting a deal because normally I charge $150 for one hour of live entertainment.
​
For high-end drawings, which is what I do for gift caricatures,
Prices start at $99 per person or animal. I offer HALF PRICE for additional People or Animals!
​
Extra items or body requests may add to the charge. Shipping is extra.
Size is 12x18 or smaller and is up to you.
​
For paintings or anything larger than 12X16, I will need to discuss your project with you personally and give you an estimate. For larger pieces or time-intensive pieces, Expect a range of $500 and up.
​
ALL drawings from photos are subject to my availability. I will try to take your requests but sometimes I am just too busy with live events. For instance during the Christmas season. I will let you know when you order if this is the case. Please feel free to order ahead.
