Why Digital Caricatures Are the Ultimate WOW Factor for Events

Looking for something your guests haven’t already seen a hundred times?
Digital caricatures are the wow factor your event didn’t know it needed.
As a professional digital caricature artist with over a decade of experience in Las Vegas—including major events like Samsung at CES—I bring a modern, high-energy twist to live event entertainment.
Guests love watching their digital caricatures come to life on screen. It’s interactive, fast, and completely unique—especially here in the South, where digital caricatures are still a fresh and unexpected experience.
Even better? Digital caricatures make it easy to collect emails, share instantly, and create buzz during and after your event. Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate event, or special occasion, this is live art that works for you.
Fun. Fresh. Sustainable. And unforgettable.
Let’s make your event the one everyone talks about.

The Largest Known Digital Caricature Event in the World

The crew of digital caricature aritsts who drew for Samsung at CES
I didn’t know it would become the largest digital caricature activation in the world when my husband agreed to manage it.
It became real the day we picked up the devices.
Twenty-five caricature artists — the most we had ever assembled for a single event — gathered in a classroom inside the Las Vegas Convention Center. I had worked at the convention center countless times and didn’t even know they had classrooms. That’s how large the facility is.
A Samsung representative stood at the front of the room explaining how to use the Galaxy Note. At the time it was the first device of its kind — a hybrid between a phone and a tablet.
There was one problem.
They wanted full color.
We were required to use the Galaxy Note’s native Notes app. There was no art software. No paint program. No custom tools. Just a notes app and a highlighter.
If you’ve ever drawn with a highlighter IRL, you know what happens when you go over the same section twice — it darkens and turns uneven. The Galaxy Note behaved the same way, creating inconsistent color across the drawing.
Not acceptable for a global product launch at CES.
Color was non-negotiable, So we adapted.
By adjusting transparency and laying down each color in a single continuous motion without lifting the stylus, we could control the tone and prevent overlap.
It required learning how to draw all over again.
We took the devices home and practiced for two weeks before the event, meeting several times to refine the system across the team. By the time CES opened, the process was locked in.
When the show floor opened, the scale was staggering.
Samsung’s booth occupied the center of the convention floor, stretching the length of a city block. Twenty-five drawing stations produced live digital caricatures throughout the event.
Traffic wrapped around the booth. The line stretched for hours. Attendees stopped mid-aisle to watch the drawings appear live on the screens.
The activation became one of the most talked-about experiences on the CES floor.
Search “Samsung caricatures” today and you’ll still find them online more than a decade later.
It wasn’t a stunt.
It was caricature — executed at scale, under pressure, and done well.
Live.
Fast.
Flattering.
Brand-safe.
And that same performance-driven approach is what I now bring to corporate trade shows, conferences, and brand activations nationwide.

From Las Vegas to the Gulf Coast

Hi, My name is Kathy Buskett.
I’ve been a professional digital caricature artist for over 27 years, drawing at weddings, special occasions, and corporate events all over the country—so creating fun, engaging experiences for guests is second nature to me.
Before bringing digital caricatures to the Gulf Coast, I spent over a decade in Las Vegas working high-volume events, including drawing digitally for brands like Samsung at CES. That experience taught me how to keep lines moving, energy high, and guests genuinely excited to participate.
Now I bring that same approach to every event I’m part of—whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or special occasion—combining the charm of live caricature with the modern edge of digital.

Why Digital Caricatures
Work So Well at Weddings
Weddings are about bringing people together—and giving them something to talk about.
Digital caricatures do exactly that.
Guests naturally gather, watch, laugh, and interact. It becomes a shared experience instead of just another detail in the background. And for most weddings—especially here on the Gulf Coast—no one has seen this before… until now.
Even guests who don’t know each other end up connecting over it.
It also fits beautifully with a wide range of wedding styles—whether you're planning something industrial, modern, or even more traditional.
The setup is clean, sleek, and adaptable, so it enhances your aesthetic instead of competing with it.
And unlike traditional favors that get left behind, this is something personal. Each couple or guest walks away with a custom digital portrait they actually want to keep—and share.
For you, it adds another layer to the celebration. The reactions, the laughter, the little crowd that forms—it all becomes part of the atmosphere of your day.
It’s entertainment. It’s a keepsake. And it helps make your wedding feel like yours.
How Digital Caricatures Work at Events
From start to finish, the process is simple—and designed to make your event run smoothly.
Before the Event:
Once you’re ready to move forward, we secure your date with a booking agreement and a 50% retainer. My agreement also includes a reliability guarantee, so you can book with confidence knowing you’re covered.
During the Event:
I create live digital caricatures on a tablet in real time while guests watch their portraits come to life on screen. It naturally draws a crowd and creates a fun, interactive experience.
You can use this as more than just entertainment:
-
Collect emails in exchange for each caricature
-
Send your team out to connect with guests while they’re waiting in line
-
Encourage social sharing with a custom hashtag (which can be added to prints or digital deliveries)
Guests can receive their caricature instantly by email, or you can choose on-site printing for a physical takeaway (available as an add-on).
After the Event:
Afterward, I provide you with all of the digital caricatures, along with a list of the email addresses used for delivery—giving you a built-in follow-up opportunity with your guests.
It’s seamless, interactive, and designed to create both a great experience and real value for your event.
Digital Caricatures: A Sustainable
Alternative to
Live Painting

At most trade shows and conventions, swag piles up — pens, water bottles, keychains — only to end up in the trash.
Digital caricatures offer something different.
Picture your guests sitting down to be drawn while their caricature appears live on a big screen or projected across a wall. The room comes alive as people laugh, cheer, and take photos of the moment.
When the drawing is finished, guests receive a digital copy by email — easy to share, easy to save, and zero waste.
It’s a personalized keepsake, an interactive show, and a sustainable alternative to traditional swag — all in one.
A recent study by Genomatica found that
85% of Americans say they’ve been thinking about sustainability — proof that eco-friendly choices matter more than ever.
That’s why digital caricatures are such a win:
they eliminate waste while giving your guests a keepsake they actually want. No pens, no plastic, no landfill — just laughter, memories, and art.

And with my high-speed digital caricatures, each guest can be drawn in five minutes or less. That means more people get sketched, more laughter fills the room, and your event becomes the talk of the town.
Even better? You’ll look like a superhero for helping the planet by replacing wasteful swag with a sustainable, personalized keepsake.

Digital Caricature Artist FAQ'S

Q: What are digital caricatures?
A: Digital caricatures are not AI — they are completely hand-drawn. The only difference is the tools: instead of pen and paper, I draw on a tablet. Each caricature is projected live on a screen or TV, and guests receive instant digital files they can download and share.
✨ A modern twist on a classic art form that makes a huge impression.
Q: How do digital caricatures help with branding?
A: Every caricature can be customized with your logo, tagline, or event theme. Guests take home a personalized keepsake tied directly to your brand — a creative alternative to swag that usually ends up forgotten in a drawer.
Q: Why should we consider digital caricatures for our event?
A: Because they make your brand stand out. Most people have never seen a digital caricature artist outside Las Vegas, where it’s hugely popular. Adding it to your event gives you a serious edge and creates buzz that lasts.
Q: Are digital caricatures a good fit for trade shows?
A: Absolutely. At conventions, most booths give away the same pens, water bottles, and keychains. A digital caricature artist not only entertains but also gives attendees a reason to stop, engage, and remember your company long after the show ends.
Q: Can digital caricatures work for virtual or hybrid events?
A: Yes! Guests can log in from anywhere and watch their caricature drawn in real time. They receive a digital file instantly — making it a fun, interactive way to engage remote audiences.
Q: How many people can you draw per hour?
A: On a tablet, I average 20 guests per hour in black & white or 10 guests per hour in full color. That’s up to twice as fast as the industry average.
Q: Can we add logos or themed props?
A: Definitely — I can weave in your branding, colors, or themed elements so every caricature doubles as a branded keepsake.

A Digital Caricature of Myself
Q: Why should we choose you as our digital caricature artist?
A: I’m the only local digital caricature artist serving the Gulf Coast and Southern region, with more than
26 years of professional experience. I’ve drawn live for Fortune 500 companies, luxury weddings, and national events — and I was creating caricatures on tablets before most of today’s generation even knew digital art existed.
✨ That combination of speed, flattering style, and proven expertise makes me the trusted choice for corporate planners, brides, and event organizers across the South.
