Meet Your Caricature Artist
Hi, I’m Kathy Buskett, and after more than 27 years as a professional caricature artist, I’ve probably drawn at more Christmas and holiday parties than any other kind of event.
I spent ten years drawing in Las Vegas, worked as a ship’s artist for Celebrity Cruises, and have entertained at corporate events for companies including Samsung, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Verizon, Hyundai and Caterpillar.
These days I’m based on the Gulf Coast and travel throughout Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana and Georgia, as well as nationwide for larger events.
But company Christmas parties have always been some of my favorites. By the end of the year, people are ready to relax. The work is done, everyone’s in a good mood, and I get to spend the evening drawing people who are finally off the clock and ready to have some fun.
And every December, I still hear it:
