Down syndrome Buddy walk

This past Saturday I drew at one of the most amazing events of my entire career. The coastal Alabama Down syndrome Buddy walk.

People of all ages showed up to support their friends and family with Down syndrome as they walked. There was food and a dj and tons of tens including my caricatures and even a raptor (bird) show! I wish I could have seen more of it but I was busy drawing all the beautiful smiling faces.

What a privilege!

I'm so blessed to be able to do something for a living that makes people happy. Thanks to God my Faithful Father who has allowed me to make a living doing something I love that He has showed me is my ministry. 💕

By the way I have a grown daughter with Down's syndrome. She couldn't make it as she's in New York visiting family. But you can bet your boots she'll be there next year!

This little girl reminded me of my daughter Graces best friend when she was little her name was Cassandra, what a cutie! ❤️

This young woman wanted to be rapunzel. Thus the long hair in the pic. I can make you into whatever character you like!

Speaking of characters.... this guy wanted to be a particular character from the movie Karate Kid along with his mom. I know how that is, my daughter grace gets obsessed with certain shows. Anyway I drew it and he loved it 😍
