Caricatures are FUN and Engaging.

They function as custom-made favors for weddings and parties.

They get everyone laughing, interacting, in a good mood, and OFF THEIR PHONES.

Unlike a live wedding painter near me, Caricatures function as Both Entertainment AND favors and guests get to take them home right away.

And with my caricatures, which are some of the fastest in the world, the price per head is about 8-10 a piece (with other slower artists it’s more like $20-$30 a piece!)

Another drawback is that it is definitely not sustainable. Paints are VERY bad for the environment and use chemicals such as titanium, cadmium and Cobolt. And those chemicals often end up in landfills and the groundwater.

ALso, No one but the bride and groom gets to keep any of the artwork made during the reception. And often, you wont get your painting back for weeks, sometimes months

And finally,

the bride will not get her painting immediately and she’ll be lucky to get it in MONTHS.

I drew Caricatures at a wedding last night and 💯 of the people got drawn.

This is evidently rare for other artists.

It’s rare enough that on goofy faces, the booking app, they claim that only 60% of people typically get drawn at events.

They also say that most caricaturists only draw 10-15 drawings per hour.

I draw 2-3 TIMES that many- 20 to 30 per hour - and evidently the quality isn’t suffering because like I said 100% of the people got drawn.

And they often do at my events

If you hire an artist who only draws 10 or 15 per hour and they’re charging 200 per hour that’s 20 bucks a head.

If you hire me, drawing 20 per hour at 200 an hour that’s ten bucks a head.

If there are more people and I draw 30 per hour that’s only FIVE bucks a head.
